PROPOSED REPUBLICAN ASSIGNMENTS TO THE SENATE ENERGY & NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE



Washington, D.C. – Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist has announced the proposed Republican committee assignments for the 109th Congress. He has proposed the following senators serve on the Senate Energy & Natural Resources Committee:

Pete V. Domenici, New Mexico

Larry E. Craig, Idaho

Craig Thomas, Wyoming

Lamar Alexander, Tennessee

Lisa Murkowski, Alaska

Richard Burr, North Carolina

Mel Martinez, Florida James M. Talent, Missouri

Conrad Burns, Montana

George Allen, Virginia

Gordon Smith, Oregon

Jim Bunning, Kentucky

The committee assignments are subject to approval by the Republican Conference. Subcommittee assignments will be announced early next year.
