SENATE ENERGY & NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK OF APRIL 4

Washington, D.C. - The Senate Energy & Natural Resources Committee will hold a conference and one full committee hearing next week. The full committee hearing regarding the status of the Yucca Mountain Project scheduled for Thursday, April 7 at 10:00 a.m. HAS BEEN POSTPONED and will be rescheduled at a later date. The full committee will hold a Water Conference on Tuesday, April 5 at 2:15 p.m. in Hart 216. The committee staff selected 22 groups to present and discuss their proposed solutions to the challenge of meeting the nation’s ever increasing demand for water. The conference participant list, guidelines and proposals can be found on the Energy Committee website at http://energy.senate.gov/. The full committee will hold a nomination hearing on Wednesday, April 6 at 10:00 a.m. in Dirksen 366. The purpose of this hearing is to consider the nomination of David Garman to be Under Secretary of Energy.
