PENSABENE RETURNS TO ENERGY COMMITTEE AS DEPUTY CHIEF COUNSEL

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Judy Pensabene has joined the Republican Staff of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee as Deputy Chief Counsel. Ms. Pensabene had previously served as Vice President of Federal Affairs at Constellation Energy Group.
Pensabene returns to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, where she served as Senior Counsel from 1990 to 1995. Pensabene was the key negotiator for the nuclear, environmental, and research and development titles for the Energy Policy Act of 1992. Prior to joining the Committee in 1990, she was engaged in the private practice of law. Pensabene received a B.A. in political science from the University of Missouri at Kansas City and a law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law. She is married and has four children.
