Washington, D.C. – The Senate Energy & Natural Resources Committee hearing scheduled for Thursday, June 10 has been rescheduled for Tuesday, June 15, at 10:00 a.m. in SD-366. The purpose of this hearing is to receive testimony regarding crude oil supply, gasoline demand and the factors that impact retail gasoline prices. Witnesses are expected to testify on a broad array of issues, including: the rise in domestic and global demand, refinery capacities and the barriers to increasing that capacity, the risk premium on oil prices, energy and economic growth, speculation in oil futures, oil and gasoline price patterns, OPEC and geo-politics, and corporate profit.
