Because of the energy bill . . .
34 new ethanol plants are being built, 8 existing plants are being expanded and ethanol production is thriving in 21 states around the country. The average 100-million gallon ethanol facility creates nearly 1,600 jobs across the economy and generates $223 million annually in increased gross state product (GSP).
