Clean Energy Provisions in ARRA

By a 61-37 vote, the Senate today passed its $838 billion economic recovery bill. The legislation contains significant investment in areas critical to the development of clean, efficient, made-in-America energy, which will save consumers money and create millions of jobs.
Chairman Bingaman: “We tried to hit the sweet spot of helping our economy recover while promoting clean energy. This bill does both.”
