v On Tuesday, June 16, the full committee will continue consideration of pending energy legislation. This mark-up is open to the press and the public but will not be webcast/audiocast and will end at 11:00 a.m. If necessary, the meeting will reconvene on Wednesday, June 17, from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. (Dirksen 366 at 10:15 a.m.)
v On Tuesday, June 16, the Subcommittee on National Parks will receive testimony on the President’s proposed FY 2010 budget for the National Park Service, and on proposed expenditures under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. v On Wednesday, June 17, the Subcommittee on Public Lands and Forests will consider S. 409, to secure Federal ownership and management of significant natural, scenic and recreational resources; S. 782, to provide for the establishment of the National Volcano Early Warning and Monitoring System; S. 874, to establish El Rio Grande Del Norte National Conservation Area in New Mexico; S. 1139, to require the Secretary of Agriculture to enter into a property conveyance with the city of Wallowa, OR; and S. 1140, to direct the Secretary of the Interior to convey certain Federal land to Deschutes County, OR.
