NOTE: Due to the continuing crisis in the Gulf of Mexico, our hearing for this Thursday on issues related to offshore oil and gas development and the Deepwater Horizon accident has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, May 11. Witnesses will be announced on the Committee’s website.

Week of May 3-7
· On Wednesday, May 5, the Subcommittee on National Parks will to review the National Park Service’s implementation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The witness will be National Park Service Comptroller Bruce Sheaffer, Department of the Interior. (Dirksen 366 at 2:30 p.m.)
· On Thursday, May 6, the Committee will hold a business meeting to consider bipartisan amendments to the American Clean Energy Leadership Act of 2009 (S.1462). The Committee also will vote on the pending nominations of Philip Moeller and Cheryl LaFleur to be members of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and Jeffrey Lane to be assistant secretary of energy for Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs.
