---On Tuesday, October 18, the full committee will examine the status of response capability and readiness for oil spills in foreign Outer Continental Shelf waters adjacent to U.S. waters.  Witnesses  include Michael Bromwich, director of Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement, U.S. Department of the Interior; Vice Admiral Brian M. Salerno, deputy commandant for operations, United States Coast Guard; Jorge Piñon, visiting research fellow, Florida International University, Miami; Paul Schuler, president and chief executive officer, Clean Caribbean & Americas, Fort Lauderdale, FL; and Mark D. ---On Wednesday, October 19, the Subcommittee on National Parks will receive testimony on the following bills:
o     S. 544, the Buffalo Soldiers in the National Parks Study Act;
o     S. 1083, the Smoky Hill National Historic Trail Study Act;
o     S. 1084, the Shawnee Cattle Trail Study Act;
o     S. 1303, the Fort Monroe National Historical Park Establishment Act of 2011;
o     S. 1325, the Lower Mississippi River National Historic Site Study Act of 2011;
o     S. 1347, the Coltsville National Historical Park Act;
o     S. 1421, to authorize the Peace Corps Commemorative Foundation to establish a commemorative work in the District of Columbia and its environs;
o     S. 1478, the Minuteman Missile National Historic Site Boundary Modification Act; and
o     S. 1537, the National September 11 Memorial and Museum Act of 2011.
