Week of Feb. 14 - Feb. 18
On Wednesday, Feb. 16, the full committee will consider the President’s proposed budget for the Department of Energy and will welcome Secretary Stephen Chu as its witness. During this hearing, once a reporting quorum of Senators is reached, the chairman will put the hearing into recess to convene a business meeting, to approve subcommittee assignments, revise the committee’s recusal policy for executive nominees and approve a funding resolution for the 112th Congress. The budget oversight hearing will resume after the mark-up is ended. (Dirksen 366 at 9:30 a.m.)
