Sen. Murkowski Hires New Energy Committee Staffers
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, is pleased to announce three new additions to her staff on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
Annie Medaglia is a Presidential Management Fellow with the U.S. Department of State who recently began a fellowship rotation with the committee. Previously, she worked on issues dealing with the Middle East and South Central Asia for State’s Legislative Affairs Bureau and energy security issues in Europe, Central Asia, and China with State’s Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy. She received her Masters in Public Policy and Bachelors in Foreign Affairs and Spanish from the University of Virginia
Pasha Majdi has joined the committee staff as a Republican Legislative Assistant. After working for Congressman Tom Davis, he graduated from George Mason University School of Law and worked for the Department of Justice. While in law school he served as a legal intern for the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and worked as a legal clerk for an energy law firm where he focused on Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regulations.
Rebecca Rosen was recently hired as a Republican Professional Staff Member on the committee, and will focus on issues pertaining to energy economics. Previously, Rebecca was a Senior Financial Consultant at PFC Energy, where she was engaged by many of the world’s major international and national oil companies to consult on an array of corporate financial and strategic matters. Prior to joining PFC Energy, Rebecca was an analyst in the Global Investment Group at an emerging markets private equity firm owned by Franklin Templeton International. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the School of International Service at American University, majoring in international affairs, with a concentration in international economics.
