u On Tuesday, May 3, the full committee will receive testimony on the proposal for a Clean Energy Deployment Administration as contained in Title I, Subtitle A of the American Clean Energy Leadership Act of 2009 (S. 1462 of the 111th Congress). A summary description of that legislative proposal can be found here. Witnesses will include Jonathan Silver, executive director of the Loan Guarantee Program, U.S. Department of Energy; Dan Reicher, executive director, Steyer-Taylor Center for Energy Policy and Finance, Stanford University, Palo Alto; Kassia Yanosek, founding principal, Tana Energy Capital LLC, New York City; and Christopher Guith, vice president for policy for the Institute for 21st Century Energy, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Washington. u On Thursday, May 5, the full committee will receive testimony on a joint staff discussion draft pertaining to cyber security of the bulk-power system and electric infrastructure. Witnesses will be posted to our website. (Dirksen 366 at 9:30 a.m.)
