On Thursday, June 23, the Water and Power Subcommittee will hold a hearing on eight bills:
o S. 500, the South Utah Valley Electric Conveyance Act;
o S. 715, the Collinsville Renewable Energy Promotion Act;
o S. 802, the Lake Thunderbird Efficient Use Act of 2011;
o S. 997, the East Bench Irrigation District Water Contract Extension Act;
o S. 1033, to amend the Reclamation Wastewater and Groundwater Study and Facilities Act to authorize the Secretary of the Interior to participate in the City of Hermiston, Ore., water recycling and reuse project;
o S. 1047, the Leadville Mine Drainage Tunnel Act of 2011;
o S. 1224, the Bureau of Reclamation Fish Recovery Programs Reauthorization Act of 2011; and
o S. 1225, the Fort Sumner Project Title Conveyance Act.
