Senators Bingaman and Murkowski today circulated to Committee Member offices the text of a joint substitute amendment to S.917, the Outer Continental Shelf Reform Act of 2011. The joint amendment is the result of bipartisan committee staff discussions in light of testimony at the Committee’s legislative hearing on the S.917 on May 17, 2011.
The joint substitute amendment will the basis for the Committee’s consideration and action on S.917 at a future business meeting.
