The Bipartisan Policy Center is hosting a discussion, “Near-Term Progress on Nuclear Waste Management: Implementing the Recommendations of the Blue Ribbon Commission,” this Wednesday, June 6, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency on 400 New Jersey Ave. NW.  Participants include Chairman Bingaman, Ranking Member Murkowski and the co-chairs of the BPC Nuclear Initiative – retired Senator Pete Domenici and Dr. Pete Miller, former assistant secretary for nuclear energy at the U.S. Department of Energy.  This event is open press.
