On Wednesday, August 15, the full committee will hold a field hearing to discuss the recent Colorado wildfires, focusing on lessons learned that can be applied to future suppression, recovery and mitigation efforts.  Witnesses will be added to the website. On Friday, August 17, the full committee will hold a field hearing to examine the current and future impacts of climate change on the Intermountain West, focusing on drought, wildfire frequency and severity, and ecosystems.  Witnesses will be added to the website.  (Santa Fe Community College, 6401 Richards Ave., Room 216 Lecture Hall, West Wing of the Main Building, Santa Fe, NM at 10:00 a.m.)
