Sen. Capito outlines the work she has done to streamline the regulatory process and protect America’s energy security by introducing S. 1210, the Oil and Gas Production and Distribution and Reform Act, and S. 1324, the Affordable Reliable Energy Now Act (ARENA Act) of 2015. These bipartisan pieces of legislation are important to ensuring a stable, reliable, affordable, and abundant energy supply moving forward.

“In West Virginia, our vast energy resources are the lifeblood of our economy. The production of coal and natural gas accounts for tens of thousands of West Virginia jobs, and keeps the lights turned on in our homes and businesses,” Sen. Capito says in the video. “I am committed to harnessing the economic potential of these energy resources and protecting the availability of affordable and reliable energy in the Mountain State and throughout the country.”
