U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, today released a new report, The Alaska Exception: Energy and the Frontier. It is the first in a series of forthcoming staff reports entitled Alaska: First in Energy.

“On the heels of passing our broad, bipartisan energy bill in the Senate last week, this is a good moment to remember that Alaska has always enjoyed a special status in our nation’s energy policy landscape,” Murkowski said. “This paper lays the groundwork for the case I intend to build over the next few months, for a pathway to ensure that my home state remains first in energy.”
