Chairman Murkowski and Ranking Member Cantwell Announce Upcoming Hearing Schedule
The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee today announced three hearings that will be held over the next two weeks. The full committee will examine the economic, safety, environmental, permitting, construction, and maintenance considerations associated with oil and gas pipeline infrastructure. The Public Lands, Forests and Mining Subcommittee will conduct oversight of the Bureau of Land Management’s Planning 2.0 initiative, and the National Parks Subcommittee will examine 23 pending bills. - Tuesday, June 14 at 10 a.m. – Full committee hearing to examine oil and gas pipeline infrastructure and the economic, safety, environmental, permitting, construction, and maintenance considerations associated with that infrastructure.
- Wednesday, June 15 at 2:30 p.m. – Subcommittee on National Parks legislative hearing on pending legislation. Click here for a list of bills to be considered at the hearing.
- Tuesday, June 21 at 2:30 p.m. – Subcommittee on Public Lands, Forests and Mining hearing to conduct oversight of the Bureau of Land Management’s Planning 2.0 initiative.
All hearings will be held in Room 366 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C. and webcast live on the committee’s website. Witness testimony will be available online immediately before the start of each hearing.
