Manchin Praises Senate Confirmation Of Wallace, Jorjani And Genatowski
Washington, DC – Today, the U.S. Senate voted to confirm the nomination of Mr. Robert Wallace to be Assistant Secretary for Fish and Wildlife and Parks at the Department of the Interior, Ms. Aimee Jorjani to be Chairman of the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation and Mr. Lane Genatowski to be Director of the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy at the Department of Energy. On June 20th, Mr. Wallace passed out of Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee by voice vote. On March 19th, Ms. Jorjani passed out of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee by voice vote. On March 7th, Mr. Genatowski was reported out of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee. Senator Manchin (D-WV), Ranking Member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, released the following statement on today’s confirmations.
