The purpose of the Business Meeting is to consider pending energy legislation. If needed, the business meeting may reconvene Thursday afternoon (Hearing Room SD-366).
S. 630 - A bill to promote marine and hydrokinetic renewable energy research and development, and for other purposes;
An original bill to provide for the conduct of an analysis of the impact of energy development and production on the water resources of the United States, and for other purposes;
An original bill to promote the domestic development and deployment of clean energy technologies, and for other purposes;
An original bill to amend the Federal Power Act to protect the bulk-power system and electric infrastructure critical to the defense of the United States against cybersecurity and other threats and vulnerabilities;
S. 699 - A bill to authorize the Secretary of Energy to carry out a program to demonstrate the commercial application of integrated systems for long-term geological storage of carbon dioxide, and for other purposes;
S. 757 - A bill to provide incentives to encourage the development and implementation of technology to capture carbon dioxide from dilute sources on a significant scale using direct air capture technologies;
S. 916 - A bill to facilitate appropriate oil and gas development on Federal land and waters, to limit the dependence of the United States on foreign sources of oil and gas, and for other purposes;
S. 917 - A bill to amend the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act to reform the management of energy and mineral resources on the Outer Continental Shelf, and for other purposes.
