This notice is to advise you of a business meeting of the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources. The business meeting will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 9:30 am in room 366 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington, DC.

The purpose of the business meeting is to consider the matters on the attached agenda and short list. These are the listed nominations and an amendment to Rule 6(b) of the Committee’s Rules.  The change in Rule 6(b) is necessary for the Committee’s Rules to remain in compliance with the Rules of the Senate with respect to the quorum necessary to report legislation and nominations.  The text of the rule as proposed to be amended together with an explanation of the change is also attached.  

The business meeting will be webcast live on the Committee’s website, and an archived video will be available shortly after the business meeting concludes.
