This notice is to advise you of a hearing before the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources. The hearing will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 10:00 am in room 366 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington, DC.
The purpose of the hearing is to examine research security risks posed by foreign nationals from countries of risk working at the Department of Energy’s National Laboratories and necessary mitigation steps.
The hearing will be webcast live on the Committee’s website, and an archived video will be available shortly after the hearing concludes. Witness testimony will be available on the website at the start of the hearing.
